After Jannat Zubair's parents didn't approve of allowing her to do intimate scenes in the show Tu Aashiqui, there were reports that she is planning to quit the show. However, her father told Pinkvilla that she is not quitting the show.
Jannat Zubair, who is a part of the show Tu Aashiqui has been in the news as the makers of her show asked her to do intimate scenes. This didn't go well with her parents and hence, they disapproved of letting her do such scenes.
Jannat Zubair is only 16-year-old. Hence, her parents didn't like that the makers wanted her to do a kissing scene.
Recently, there has been news that Jannat Zubair is planning to quit the show. However, when Pinkvilla contacted her father, he had something else to say.
Jannat's father told us, "Nahi, nahi. khud kyu chodenge hum log? Agar humare aur uske contract se alag jayega toh problem ayega. Khud kyu chodenge hum log show?" (No no, why would she quit the show? If they make changes in the contract, then there will be a problem. Why will she quit the show herself?)
Earlier, When PINKVILLA contacted Jannat, her father responded to the queries and confirmed that they have also heard that the production team is auditioning people for Jannat’s role but have not received any official intimidation from them.
“Jannat is shooting today,” her father Zubair Rahmani said and added, “We had a meeting scheduled with the production team but they have started auditioning before that. Let them conduct auditions.”
About not allowing Jannat to take up such scenes, her father said, “All I can say is Jannat is a good performer. When we had signed the show, we had decided what we wanted Jannat to do and what we didn’t. We want her to establish herself as a good actor because of her talent and not by making her perform kissing and adult scenes.”
“We had signed an agreement with the makers regarding the same which they breached but we still co-operated but now demands are going overboard. Jannat’s fan following includes kids and teenagers and we don’t want to send out a wrong message to people,” he added.
