EXCLUSIVE: Surbhi Jyoti REVEALS her parents thought getting Qubool Hai offer was a part of a FRAUD
Surbhi Jyoti, in an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, revealed that her mother thought her first acting offer was a part of a fraud. Read on.
Surbhi Jyoti rose to fame with Qubool Hai where she played the role of Zoya. The actor played today's girl as Zoya and later, went on to play Naagin in Naagin 3. Surbhi has been quite versatile with her choices and will now foray into films with Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai. In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla for the segment, Cheat Meal With Stars, Surbhi opened up on how the first offer came to her.
“Gul saw me and asked me to fly down to Mumbai for a show. My mother was very sceptical as she thought it is some fraud. Why will anyone cast me out of nowhere, she thought. But then Gul booked tickets for me and gave her assurance. And within a week I was here, shooting and promos went on air, so then she was like, ‘okay, this is really happening,’” Surbhi shared. The actress also revealed that she is glad for the opportunities she had got.

Surbhi also spoke on Naagin 3 and how it changed things for her. "I am so happy I took the offer. I was not convinced earlier. I was sceptical about the serpent bit as I could not relate to it. But, then I thought about Marvel movies and I was like if superman can think he can save the world, and spiderman can think he can pull web, then why can't this girl not turn into a serpent?" She also said that she has lived her journey as a serpent in Naagin 3 and would like to leave it there.
