EXCLUSIVE: Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka: There wasn't much for Rajdeep to do says Abhinav Shukla on his exit
After Drashti Dhami, Abhinav Shukla has now bid adieu to the show.
Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka on Colors seems to have brought about too much heartbreak for the fans of the show. While it was only a couple of days back that news about Drashti Dhami making an exit from the show first came in, now, Abhinav Shukla aka Rajdeep will be seen making an exit from the show. The actor, posted a heartfelt message on social media and wrote, " Its ironical that much love and appreciation not just from friends but from professionals came doing a outrightly horrible character! People loved Rajdeep in-spite of his evilness .. For me too it was ironical the month I was actually getting married I was beating my reel wife onscreen . I am surprised at the appreciation and love people had for my character ! I will miss working with such an amazing team!
We got in touch with Abhinav, and when asked if it was the leap or Drashti's exit that has led to him taking this decision, the actor said, "It's not related to her character at all, neither is it about the leap. It's just I think there was nothing more that Rajdeep's character had to offer, and hence the decision." While Drashti made an exit because she did not want to play a mother, Abhinav has a fair point as well.
However, with all the love that he has managed to receive despite playing a negative character is after all commendable. He ended his post thanking the team, and stating how it was a learning process. He wrote, "I learnt so much playing a bad boy obviously not as much as i learnt being a good human in real life ! Thankyou."
