EXCLUSIVE: Shaheer Sheikh on Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: If things work out, why not?
Shaheer Sheikh is rumoured to be roped in for Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. However, the actor remains tight-lipped about it.
Shaheer Sheikh is easily one of the best talents we have on Indian Television. The actor continues to win hearts with his every character, be it Anant in Navya, Arjuna in Mahabharat or Dev from Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi.
If rumour mills are to be believed, Shaheer has been roped in to play the character of Anurag Basu from the iconic show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Recently, we caught up with the handsome actor to interact with him about his journey. Regarding Kasauti Zindagii Kay 2, while Shaheer refrained from divulging any information, we asked him if he has seen the original show which starred Shweta Tiwari and Cezzane Khan.
To that, Shaheer honestly stated that he hasn't watched the show BUT he has heard good things about it.
"I have heard so many good things about that show (Kasautii). That was the show that changed Indian Television forever, effects of which can be seen even now. It has been one of the biggest shows ever made on Indian Television and I know for the fact that Balaji is an amazing production house who are doing amazing work. So, why not? If things work out," Shaheer said while adding after a pause, "It is just that things have to click, it is not my wish, it is what God has planned for me. He puts me in the spot where he wants to, then the dates will just happen and everything will fall into place and I will be in India shooting if it has to happen."
On hearing this we asked Shaheer if he is dropping any hints, however, Shaheer maintained, "No No, I am not giving any hint. Most of the things, I believe, are not in my control and whatever has to happen, you will soon see me on Indian Television, or on the big screen or anywhere else."
Well, that is indeed a good news for his fans! We can't wait to see him back on Indian Television.
