Shaheer Sheikh is on cloud nine currently as his new show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke has already toppled all the existing shows to take the first spot on the TRP list. What makes it all the more exciting is the fact that the show has managed to achieve this feat in its first week itself, now that is creating history in style. Shaheer obviously is very happy about this achievement, but the actor keeps a low profile only wishing to do better with each episode. Well, that is what makes him one of the most desirable personalities.
We got in touch with Shaheer for his response on this feat, to which, the actor replied with humility making us root for him all the more. He in an exclusive statement to Pinkvilla said that he was sure that people will like the show eventually, but the response in first week is surprising. "I knew that people are gonna eventually like it.. but the very first week getting such a good response is quite a surprise," he said. He also added, "People have liked the character (Abir) overall but a lot of people have been talking about my hair." Well, his uber cool look has been making his female fans go weak in their knees for sure.
While many compared Shaheer's look to that of Hrithik Roshan's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Shaheer doesn't quite agree to it. He told us that he feels that there is no similarity between the two. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section below.
