EXCLUSIVE: Sanam Johar: Music singles play a part in the progress of an actor

Choreographer and dancer Sanam Johar had a rather uncertain exit from one of the dance reality shows after sustaining injuries has returned with a music video ‘Kehde Tu Zara’. Touted to be a peppy and romantic numbers, Sanam is ready for his big break while he shows off his washboard abs in the single. He has been going places ever since he bagged his first TV stint and looks like he has come a long way since then! Last, the actor was in the top 3 along with his baliye Abigail Pandey.

Working on his body language & attending acting workshops, Sanam's waiting for a breakthrough in acting and he feels music singles these days put the actors in the spotlight. Talking about the same, he said, “There was a time when Indi-Pop stars were huge back in the 90's. Now for the last few years, music singles are back and how with Bollywood movies adapting them. For an aspiring actor, music video gives the feel of facing the camera in a very organic way, also helps to boost confidence as technically the shoot for a music video does not take more than one day, so the pressure of finishing the job also gets interesting and exciting. Certainly, music singles do play a part in the progress of an actor. Also, I had a great time working on this one.”
