EXCLUSIVE: Not Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, talks are on for THIS show’s spin off

With Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai spin off Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke doing great on TRP charts, looks like the channel doesn’t mind experimenting with more such spin offs. While rumours have been rife that musical drama Kulfi Kumar Bajewala might get a spin off, we can safely say that is not happening. A source close to the development revealed that though Kulfi is doing well, there is no scope for a spin off as of now.

However, premature discussions on a spin off for another show is definitely on. Wondering which show? Well, it is producer Gul Khan’s another show Nazar starring Monalisa. The supernatural drama which completed a year of telecast recently has helped channel revive its late night slot. The source adds that the discussions are at a very nascent stage right now as the channel doesn’t have a vacant time slot to accommodate a new show currently.
Speaking of Nazar, the show is touted to be one of the best made supernatural shows on Indian television. Be it the VFX used or the production quality, the show has managed to create a positive buzz everywhere. It can be remembered that it was Gul who had introduced the concept of spin offs on Indian TV with Dil Bole Oberoi, which was a spin off to the hit show Ishqbaaaz shouldered by Nakuul Mehta and Surbhi Chandna.
