EXCLUSIVE: Karan Singh Grover: Dr Armaan is quite close to what I'm; I look up to him when it comes to romance
Karan Singh Grover says he looks up to his character Dr Armaan when it comes to romance. Karan is currently married to Bipasha Basu. The duo fell in love on the sets of Alone and tied the knot in April, 2016.
Who can forget the ever-so-handsome Dr Armaan aka Karan Singh Grover from Dill Mill Gayye? Asmaani Rang was a rage once upon a time. All the 90s kids will resonate with what we are saying right now.
Dr Armaan's romantic side has clearly been one of the textbooks for classic romance for many. Talking to Karan Singh Grover, we asked him how much does he resonate with Armaan's romantic side.
To this, Karan said, "Well, the role of Dr- Armaan is actually quite close to what I am. Armaan actually went full board and did everything all the time, he is somebody that I also look up to when it comes to romance but the thought process is quite similar. I try my best to do whatever I can and make it special. I think it is the thought and the intent that makes a difference at the end of the day."
Now, this is extremely sweet, isn't it?
About celebrating Valentine's Day with Bipasha Basu, Karan said, "I have been shooting this Valentine's Day and so I did not have much time to plan anything for Bipasha. There is one thing I do for her that is I write poetry on every Valentine. I know it is kind of lame but that is something I do. That is something I will do for the rest of my life for all my Valentines because there are somethings I would like to do it forever. This year, I am kinda fallen short of ideas but we cut a lot of cakes yesterday which is kind of a celebration in itself."
Karan fell in love with Bipasha on the sets of their film Alone and tied the knot in April, 2016.
