While news of Ekta Kapoor bringing back Komolika's character in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 brought much cheer among fans, many were left disappointed with Hina Khan's absence. The much-loved Hina Khan, who played the negative role to perfection, won't be returning to the small screen this time around. As per latest reports, Ekta Kapoor and team are on the look out for new faces and have been suggested quite a few well-known actresses from the TV industry.
According to a report in BollywoodLife, the team have zeroed down on actress Jasmin Bhasin who was also seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi. Pinkvilla reached out to Jasmin and the actress denied being approached. She said, “Right now, I am out of town. I have not been approached as yet."
A source adds, “Hina is busy with her film commitments and while Ekta wants her to return, it seems unlikely currently. Hence, the makers are short listing actresses who can play Komolika." While we have to wait and see who bags the much talked-about role, Hina as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay garnered unprecedented success and adulation.
For anyone who has been watching the show, the actress' style and on screen persona was much talked about and picked up really well among the audiences. But much to the dismay of fans, Hina left the show for brighter endeavours in Bollywood. Irrespective of who bags the role, the actress will have huge shoes to fill in.
