EXCLUSIVE: Hina Khan: If I don't take risks, who will? Giving up on money that TV offers isn't easy
Hina Khan says that she is taking risks with the projects because she doesn't want to regret later on. Read on to know more.
Hina Khan, who has been slaying it and how, started off with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on television. 10 years down the line, the actress is ruling television and has forayed into cinema with several movies in her kitty. In an exclusive interview with PINKVILLA, when asked if it is a risk to take two and three projects at the same time, Hina assertively added that it is a risk but then if she doesn't take the risk, who will?
She said, "If I don't take risks, no one will. I know it is not easy. Television has a lot of money and I think I am at a position in television where I have everything, respect, power, money and a lot of money and just giving up on it is not easy. It is a tough call but somebody has to start because we will always feel ki nahi hoga. If I can set an example, I would want to do it. I don't want to regret later on."
Playing a blind person in Country of Blind, her first Hollywood collaboration, Hina exclaimed, "It is not easy. Playing a blind person is not easy. I went to blind schools, took a training and trust me, they are better than us. If your one sense doesn't work, your other senses are so strong. It is a learning, no one is less than us."
She also added that her aim is to be known as a versatile actor and she hopes to achieve it in the upcoming years and do some good work.
