EXCLUSIVE: Gaurav Chopra on his wedding reception in Bengaluru: Exes who are friends are always invited

Gaurav Chopra secretly got married to girlfriend Hitisha Cheranda in Delhi recently. Gaurav's wife Hitisha has studied management from International Fashion Academy, Paris and is currently working as a fashion consultant in Vogue.
While Gaurav managed to keep his marriage under wraps for the longest time, the news managed to create a stir given Gaurav's controversial history.
In a conversation with PINKVILLA, Gaurav maintained that it was a conscious decision to keep the marriage a secret so as to protect his wife from the unwanted attention and also so that people who are emotionally connected to the marriage can enjoy it without any media attention.
When we asked if he will be throwing a small reception for his industry friends and others, he said, "In Bengaluru, we will be throwing a small party for friends and family, a few celebrities from Mumbai will be coming too. As of now, we are done with the number of events, in Delhi, and since Hitisha is from Bengaluru, we are doing something there. Post this, we fly off to Europe for our honeymoon. If, after all this, we have stamina left, we will see if we can throw a reception in Mumbai."
On if any of his exes are invited to the party/reception, he added, "Friends are all invited. They were invited before, they will be invited now. You don't look at them as exes, you look at them as friends. That is how it should be, right? If someone was your girlfriend before and now is just a friend, you don't look at them as somebody you dated once."
Gaurav was in a relationship with TV Queen Mouni Roy and Narayani Shastri in the past.
