EXCLUSIVE: Bigg Boss 11: Vikas Gupta's brother Siddharth Gupta on Shilpa Shinde: She is mentally unstable, my condolences are with her
Siddharth Gupta also regrets his decision of sending Vikas Gupta in the Bigg Boss 11 house.
Bigg Boss 11 contestant Vikas Gupta has been making headline ever since the show premiered, either for his spat with Shilpa Shinde or about his sexuality. He was questioned about his sexuality and made fun of inside the Bigg Boss 11 house, but as they say, the tables do turn and they definitely have for Vikas as now he is the first house captain of Bigg Boss 11 and has all the power in his hands. While the audience has lots of things to say to their most or least liked celebrities inside the house, there are some people who desperately want to reach out to the contestants and they are family.
We got in touch with Vikas Gupta's brother Siddharth Gupta and spoke to him about Vikas and all the events that took place inside the house. Siddharth got candid and revealed a lot of things. Here's an excerpt from the interview:
Your brother Vikas has been attacked way too many times by fellow contestant Shilpa Shinde, what do you have to say about it?
I've spoken enough about it but whatever happens, happens for the good and obviously It was a bad decision for me to send him (Vikas) inside the Bigg Boss 11 house but now he has gained momentum and has become the first captain and people are sympathizing with him. He has maintained his dignity let alone whatever someone else has to do.
Did you have the urge of meeting Vikas and speak to him when you saw him break down after he tried to escape the Bigg boss house?
I just wanted to destroy everything..(laughs) but on a serious note, I wanted to reach out to him and tell him that she (Shilpa) is getting her sadistic pleasure because of the fact that he is reacting. The game is not about how well you perform tasks, it's all about how strong your mental game is. He needs to maintain his mental threshold and not react. I felt he was reacting a lot and that is why they were picking on him even more.
What do you have to say about all the accusations Shilpa had made against Vikas for ruining her career?
No no, that's not true, he was the channel producer why would he conspire against one actor? If you go through all reports you will realise there was hardly any conflict with Vikas there was a problem with the production house, there were problems with the producer and other issues that came ahead, the channel's production house was continuously complaining to him and that is why he had to take an action in terms of talking it out with the actor, and it was a casual chat over dinner sort. That was it, but she (Shilpa) tried to build on it and I feel she is mentally unstable because there is a lot of stripping of personality there so all my condolences with her.
There were reports of Vikas being in a relationship with Priyank which led to the news becoming a huge deal for many. What do you have to say?
I cannot answer on behalf of the concerned people (Vikas and Priyank), from what I know we all have been friends, Priyank has been a close friend of mine, we are all friends, there are 10 guys around doesn't mean we are all in a relationship, to stand up for someone doesn't really mean your dating that person. It's Vikas and his choice and I would never have a problem with anything and in fact, Vikas said a very good thing in the Bigg Boss house, 'Gay is not a gaali' I feel it's a very great line he said and things should be that way.
