EXCLUSIVE: Bigg Boss 11 evicted contestant Benafsha Soonawalla on Priyank Sharma: He saved his ass and put me on the forefront

Bigg Boss 11 had its latest eviction round and this time Benafsha Soonawalla bid adieu to the housemates. Benafsha was recently in the middle of controversies because of her sharing the bed with Priyank. She came across as a very calm and quiet personality inside the house but looks like Bigg Boss isn't made for the naive and vulnerable. We at Pinkvilla exclusively got in touch with Benafsha and spoke to her about everything you'd want to know right now. From her equation with Priyank to her boyfriend Varun Sood, Benafsha revealed it all. 

Here's an excerpt from the interview. 

How does it feel finally getting outside the house?

It's good outside....but I am just so irritated with what's happening inside the house after I have come out I saw everything that happened behind my back and I am so upset. I feel like a fool now because I would never gossip about anybody and I would never say wrong things but everybody inside the house including my own friends have spoken rubbish about me. I really have learned that Bigg Boss is a place where you are just on your own. 

What was the first thing you did after getting out of the house?

I ate a lot of donuts yaa... I needed chocolates to get over all the stress. These rubbish people (laughs) I have legit stuffed donuts in my mouth.... Like seriously, what kind of people ya, you really have to be a bad person to survive. 

Do you regret your decision of going inside the Bigg Boss 11 house?

No, no, not at all,  don't regret going inside the house at all. And if I get a chance to go again, I will definitely go and I will go in as a changed person, who is very prepared and aware of all the rubbish people are capable of. I know who is capable of what, and Vikas, who I expected nothing from turned out to be a lovely person while I was leaving. People I had expected the maximum from have said rubbish about me. 

Who exactly are these people who shocked you with their betrayal?

Priyank, Luv, and Hina have been discussing how I have been running after Priyank. I don't expect anybody else to know what was going on but Priyank, he himself said that Benafsha is running after me. I was SHOCKED! because that's not the truth and we were just joking around and it must have looked wrong temporarily to people but at least Priyank should have cleared it out. I would just joke with him, but this was just blown out of proportion. 

That whole episode of you and Priyank sharing the same bed became a big deal. What do you have to say about that?

I don't blame the audience because it must have looked wrong especially because Priyank made that statement. If Priyank had just said that all of this was a joke and nothing but a friendly joke then everything would have ended right then and there, I wouldn't have to go through all that I did later. Now I have to deal with all the statement he made inside the house. Ever since he has come back inside the house he is worried about his image. So temporarily he saved his ass and put me on the forefront. Hina Khan takes everybody's side but mine and especially when it comes to Priyank and Luv. Luv doesn't really use his own brains, but Priyank just kept agreeing with them, he could have just said it out loud that it is a JOKE. 

Did you feel at that point that your own friends were not supportive of you?

 Yes, I did feel that way and honestly a day before leaving I told Vikas that I don't feel that friendly vibe from Hina and even if I remain friends with her, she is capable of saying something about me and damn right she did. I genuinely liked her earlier, but you know you can't just for the sake of putting up a strong opinion or commenting on something you can't do that like what she does. 

Do you feel with all the fights and controversies, stars like Hina Khan and Shilpa Shinde are losing their stardom and fan following?

I think this applies to Hina Khan, Shilpa it applies to a certain extent, but by the looks of it I feel Shilpa seems like a good person and even Salman says good things about her during the Weekend Ka Vaar special. I feel kinda foolish and stupid to not have interacted much with Shilpa and all. Even Arshi, with her I have a different equation. We've never hated each other, and we've never fought with each other. We have not been the closest friends but we have a cordial relationship.  

Everyone has been talking about Puneesh-Bandgi's relationship and has called them fake, what do you have to say?

I think in the beginning it was a little bit of planning, but now I think they have developed genuine feelings for each other. But if my friends and my jokes with Priyank can be made into such a big deal,  with all the aunties and the uncles present inside the house I wonder what will happen to Puneesh-Bandgi, they should be a little careful because in the night the aunties and the uncles start with their gossip sessions. 

There were reports that your boyfriend Varun Sood was very upset about the entire Priyank fiasco?

He never said he was upset about all of this, in fact, Varun gave out a lot of statements saying that he has a lot of confidence in me and he wants to wait until I come out but I don't know about Divya. Divya put out some breakup statements. 

Who are you going to miss the most, and who according to you should win the show?

I was initially very close to Hiten and Vikas and I feel I'll miss them the most, I am already missing Priyank very much, though I am terribly pissed off at what he said. He was my best friend inside the house. I also feel that Vikas deserves to win because he is very intelligent and plays the game damn well.
