EXCLUSIVE- Bharti Singh on joining The Kapil Sharma Show: No one can ever replace Sunil Grover, he's a fantastic actor

The news of Bharti Singh to be a part of The Kapil Sharma Show created a lot of storm in the house. While a few were happy for TKSS, a few raised eyebrows on knowing that the actress will now be professionally pitted opposite her BFF Krushna Abhishek owing to the latter's new show on the same channel.

"Yes, I am going to be a part of The Kapil Sharma Show," said Bharti. "Though the character has not been decided yet, we will be deciding it in a meeting that I will have with the creative team of the show. Let's see if I will be playing Kapil's wife or what else. Also, Haarsh is not doing The Kapil Sharma Show, let me clarify that." On turning professional competitor to her bestie Krushna, Bharti giggled away as she said, "Firstly I was never offered Krushna's show. So there wasn't any chance of choosing between TKSS and Drama Company. Right now I am very happy I am going on to be a part of the Number 1 show on Indian Television." Talking about Kapil, Bharti said, "He has been my teacher long ago. I respect him a lot."

Having said that, how did Krushna react to the news of Bharti joining in with Kapil, considering their not so good history? Bharti says, "He was cool with it. See I wasn't offered any role in his show, if I would have been offered and would not have accepted and etc, then I could have commented, he could have commented, but nothing of that sort happened."

She further said, "As soon as the news came out of me collaborating with TKSS, people asked if I was going to replace or fill in Sunil Grover aka Mashoor Gulati's place. I can only say, no one can ever replace him. Sunil is a fantastic actor and is extremely talented in his own way." "I just want both shows to do well and justify their primary goal of making viewers laugh till their stomachs hurt."

The actress recently underwent a surgery and even before her wound heals, her energy seems to have sprung back into action. The actress immediately after her surgery, was back to work the next day. Well with Krushna and Kapil's show with such a strong team, weekends are sure to be a laughter riot!
