Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) released a statement in which they revealed that Alok Nath has been expelled from the association after he was accused of sexual harassment by TV writer and director Vinta Nanda. CINTAA tweeted, "In view of the various allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct against Mr. Alok Nath, after due diligence and consideration, the Exec. Committee of #cintaa has decided to expel him from the Association. @sushant_says @renukashahane @FIA_actors @sagaftra @RichaChadha"

When we quizzed Alok Nath about the same, he exclusively told Pinkvilla, "Toh accha hua... I haven’t heard from them. I can't speak about it. I don't know yet." We further asked him if he would be in a better position to speak about it once he receives an intimidation about it, to which he said that he will “think about it”.

What do you have to say about it? Let us know in the comments section below.

Talking about the whole controversy, a few weeks back, Vinta Nanda in a Facebook post spoke at length about how she was sexually assaulted by an actor, who had a 'sanskaari' image. She stated, "I have waited for this moment to come for 19 years." She also hinted about Alok Nath by saying, "the actor par excellence who is known as the most ‘sanskaari’ (cultured) person in the film and television industry."

Soon after that, when Alok Nath was quizzed about the allegations he went on to say, "Neither I am denying this nor do I would agree with it. It (rape) must have happened, but someone else would have done it."
