Erica Fernandes: Shaheer Sheikh and I shared great chemistry because of our offscreen rapport
In an interview with a leading daily, actress Erica Fernandes talked about her equation for her Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi co-star Shaheer Sheikh. She denied that they were in a relationship.
Some shows stay forever in our minds because of the concept, while some because of the brilliant actors. One of Sony TV's shows Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi will always be special for the fans. The show had a wonderful concept and the liking of the audience isn't limited to the show's story. Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi gave the viewers a beautiful on-screen pair - Erica Fernandes and Shaheer Sheikh who played Sonakshi and Dev, respectively.
It has been a year since the show went off air and both the actors are professionally busy with their new shows, but for KRPKAB fans, Sona and Dev will always be their ideal favourite couple. Their on-screen chemistry is so raw and real that there were rumours that the duo was in a relationship back then and had called it quits after the show got over. However, while talking to Times of India, Erica denied that Shaheer and her were ever dating. Erica said, "Shaheer and I were good friends. We shared great chemistry because of our off-screen rapport. It’s important to enjoy a comfort level with your co-actor. It is not true that we were in a relationship, but I don’t deny the friendship. I would love to hang out with Shaheer even now, but I am busy shooting."
So what are her thought on marriage and what she looks for in a partner? The gorgeous actress shared, "It depends a lot on the respect that person gives you. I don’t mind chivalry either. He does not have to be very rich or someone with six packs."
Erica Fernandes is currently playing the lead role in Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay. While she plays the female lead Prerna, actor Parth Samthaan is essaying the role of Anurag. Hina Khan essays the iconic villain Komolika in the show. The show is receiving a lot of positive response and it is topping the TRP charts.
