Erica Fernandes on Kasautii Zindagii Kay: Nostalgia and the excitement can't be expressed in words

On February 16, 2018, Czarina of television, Ekta Kapoor announced that she will be returning with Kasautii Zindagii Kay after 17 years of its on-air time. She posted a heartbreaking image which read as "But I love you I love you and I am incapable of un-loving you."

Ekta captioned her post as "With a piece of my broken heart I wrote in 2001 ...17 years later I ‘ reboot’ it dipping it in personal pain and lacing it with experiences of an older me! Bringing back my most successful love saga that ran for 9 years!!! Again I’ll take my broken heart n make it into art!!! #namestobeannounced #waitfortheannouncement"

Since then, people have been waiting to know about the new cast of Kasautii Zindagii Kay especially the leads Anurag, Prerna and the main antagonist Komolika. 

Yesterday, Ekta teased the fans by sharing the teaser of the show, which gave us a glimpse of Erica J Fernandes as Prerna and we were dying to see who is as Anurag with her. If rumours are to be believed, Parth Saamthaan will be seen romancing her in the show with Hina Khan playing Komolika. 

Ekta tweeted the teaser stating, "Feeling excited to bring back the epic saga of love #KasautiiZindagiiKay, Coming Soon only on @StarPlus.

Erica, who is excited to be a part of the show also tweeted saying, "And this gives me goosebumps! The nostalgia and the excitement of being a part of THIS SHOW cant be expressed in words. Thankyou mam @ektaravikapoor  @chloejferns @shreya_nehal 

P.S:- as promised .. i shall be back very soon on your tv screens ...."
