Ekta Kapoor on Kasauti Zindagii Kay 2: The beauty is once an era ends, a new era begins
Ekta Kapoor's show Kasauti Zindagii Kay starring Cezzane Khan and Shweta Tiwari was one of the popular shows. The producer opened up about making the second part of the show and the reason for the same.
From last few days, there are reports that Ekta Kapoor is planning to bring back one of her popular shows Kasauti Zindagii Kay. The news started making rounds after she shared an Instagram post when the show completed 17 years.
In an interaction with a leading portal, when Ekta Kapoor was asked her views on bringing back her own show in a completely new package, she said, "There is no old wine, everyone in today's time is going through the same thing. Kasauti is a 20-year-old story, but the beauty is once an era ends and a new era begins, the social stigmas change, widow marriage is no longer a stigma today, or divorces for that matter, so once that stigma goes and social acceptability comes, and you take a different point of view, the whole story changes."
Meanwhile, her Instagram posts that she shared a few weeks ago read, " With a piece of my broken heart I wrote in 2001 ...17 years later I ‘ reboot’ it dipping it in personal pain and lacing it with experiences of an older me! Bringing back my most successful love saga that ran for 9 years!!! Again I’ll take my broken heart n make it into art!!! #namestobeannounced #waitfortheannouncement"
Also, there are reports that actor Shaheer Sheikh will play the role of Anurag Basu in the show. The role was essayed by Cezanne Khan in Kasauti Zindagii Kay.
Recently, during a Twitter session, a fan asked Shaheer, "Hero there is news about this starplus show u comng bck with..pls clear kar do uss bare main" To which Shaheer replied, "It was a pilot. Not signed anything till now."
This reply of the actor excited many of his fans as it hinted towards Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2.
