Ekta Kapoor cannot forgive Mona Singh for not doing Kavach Season 2; Know Why
Ekta Kapoor recently shared the promo of her show Kavach Season 2 which stars Deepika Singh, Vin Rana and Namik Paul in lead roles. However, she also took a dig at Mona Singh for not doing the show in her recent post.
Ekta Kapoor's newest show Kavach 2 will soon be releasing on the digital platform and the makers of the show released the first promo of the supernatural series which received a tremendous response. It is not a hidden fact that the first season of the show starred Mona Singh in the lead role. However, the second season saw actress Deepika Singh of Diya Aur Baati Hum fame replace the actress. Even though the new promo was appreciated by the viewers, Mona Singh will surely be missed on the show.
It is well-known that Mona Singh is currently seen in the show Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain because of which the actress could not do Kavach 2. Seems like just like the fans, even Ekta Kapoor is upset about this fact. She shared the promo of the show on her social media but not without expressing her disappointment with Mona Singh for not doing the show. Ekta pulled Mona's leg saying that she will not forgive her easily. Ekta Kapoor wrote, "Coming soon on @colorstv season 2 KAWACH( p.s I’m not forgiving u easily @monajsingh for not doing this one but it’s #kehnekohumsafarhain gain so wat can I say) @chloejferns @deepikasingh150 @colorstv @balajitelefilmslimited."
Talking about the show Kavach Season 2, the promo of the show intrigued the fans and managed to strike a chord with the viewers. The show's promo has all the feels of a supernatural drama and sees Deepika in a new light. It introduces her as Sandhya, a girl who goes to the Shiv temple to pray for her future husband on the occasion of Mahashivratri. Dramatic music and effects follow and as per the promo any girl who wishes to get married soon can see the face of her future husband if she fasts on Mahashivratri. In the short promo video, we also get a glimpse of the male leads of the show Namik Paul and Vin Rana, who will be playing pivotal roles in the show.
