Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji has been in the news firstly as the show took a five-year leap and secondly because the lead actor Jasmin Bhasin has left the show as she wasn't comfortable playing the role of a mother's character on-screen.
Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji has been in the news firstly as the show took a five-year leap and secondly because the lead actor Jasmin Bhasin has left the show as she wasn't comfortable playing the role of a mother's character on-screen. She told TOI, “The storyline of the show underwent a change recently along with a time leap. Initially, I wasn’t aware, but when I read the screenplay, I realised that I would have to play a mother. I didn’t want to do that, as that is not what I signed up for. I informed my producers and the creative team, accordingly.”
For the unversed, as per the current track, Rocky (Ansh Bagri) is shown as a father to a boy named Honey and Happy Mehra is the one who takes care of the kid. Soon reports of Donal Bisht replacing Jasmin started doing the rounds, and now, to put all the speculations to the rest, Donal posted her first look as well as a video message confirming that she is indeed playing the lead role.
Donal reposted the first look that featured her, child artist Ajinkya Mishra and Ansh Bagri. She captioned the same as, "Happy to be a part #diltohappyhaiji @starplus #4lionsproduction...... See u guys soon..!!" Check out the posts right below.
