Bollywood actor Tanushree Dutta's sexual harassment allegations against Nana Patekar and Vivek Agnihotri has caused a huge turmoil in Bollywood and each passing day adds a new angle to the scandal. The case is garnering attention from all over. A number of stars from film and television industry like Sonam Kapoor, Twinkle Khanna, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Simi Garewal, Pooja Bhatt among others have come in support of her, many have still remained quiet on the issue. The latest to join the bandwagon is Television popular face, Divyanka Tripathi.

As per a report in Spotboye, Divyanka deeply feels that Tanushree should go the legal way. “I hope if she's harassed, she's taking a legal route as it's been ten years and protection of girls is being taken more seriously now.” Divyanka was quoted saying to the entertainment portal.

Divyanka who is known for her role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has been an integral part of the glamour world and is certainly aware of the situation of women across the country as well as the film & tv industry.

Today, the National Commission for Women has also come in support of Tanushree Dutta. Going by the report by a leading media house, an advocate, Gaurav Gulati has filed a complaint with the NCW to file FIR against Nana and Vivek. The complaint states, "Tanushree Dutta was harassed on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss... CINTAA, too, refused to adhere to the laid down guidelines of the laws regarding sexual harassment at the workplace (Vishaka & Ors v. State of Rajasthan, 1997). As per the CRPC and Limitation act, there is no bar for registering a case on sexual offences if the victim gives a reasonable justification for the delay."

The NCW has confirmed the reports and has said that the investigation will begin from today.
