Divyanka Tripathi gives a fitting reply to trolls who bashed her for playing dark-skinned Haryanavi character
Divyanka Tripathi shared a few pictures of her new look from Ye Hai Mohabbatein on her Instagram page. However, fans started trolling her. The actress gave a fitting reply to one of the fans.
Divyanka Tripathi is one of the popular and most loved television actresses. She shared a huge fan following. From last so many years, she has been winning hearts by playing the role of Ishita in the show Ye Hai Mohabbatein.
With a new twist in the show, Divyanka will be seen in a Haryanavi avatar. She will essay the role of Shanno in the show because of the twist.
Divyanka shared a few pictures of her new look from the show on her Instagram page. However, fans started trolling her. The actress gave a fitting reply to one of the fans who commented on the dark skin of the character Shanno in the show.
The fan has deleted the comment. The comment read, "That's pathetic of you to do a black face for a tv serial. Being dark is not a bad thing and this is really disgusting of you to do" and "Black facing yourself for the sake of a "tv serial track" is pathetic. You didn't lighten your makeup when you were pretending to be a foreigner in the tv serial, why did you darken yourself to become a maid? Exactly. Double standards."
Divyanka hit back this troll and replied, "If I chose to be dark... How is that pathetic? Do you find it pathetic? You guys don't even think before bashing! Which Indian actor will voluntarily choose to look dark on screen? It's not usual!!!!"
She also commented, "Know me first before judging! I'm doing that make up myself! Everyday! So please... Watch the track.. understand and respect instead of writing baseless provocative comments!
