Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein's spin off Yeh Hai Chahatein postponed; here's why
Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel's show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein gets an extension. It's spin off Yeh Hai Chahatein gets pushed further.
Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel starrer Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has been in the news for the longest time due to rumours that the show will be going off-air. The show has been witnessing low TRPs comparatively for quite some time now and while the cast has time and again refuted the rumours, the latest development will come as a relief for them. As per latest report, the show has been extended and will continue to air for some more time.
If you are wondering for a reason behind it, well, it is because its spin-off Yeh Hai Chahatein which has been in the making for the longest time has been pushed further. Yes, the spin-off was supposed to take off last month end, if our sources are to be believed, but as the makers couldn't lock in the cast, it has been delayed. Auditions for the show have been in full swing since April-May. The story for the spin-off will be slightly more matured one with the leads playing middle-aged characters.
Well, it is quite possible that the makers will tweak the plot a bit if they do not get the desired cast. Meanwhile, Karan Patel is rumoured to have signed Khatron Ke Khiladi where he will show off his daring moves. On the other hand, Anita Hassanandani, who plays the role of Shagun in YHM, will also be seen in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 9 along with her husband Rohit Reddy.
