Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel's Yeh Hai Mohabattein to have a spin-off?
After Ishqbaaaz and Kumkum Bhagya, Star Plus' hit show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein to have a spin-off. Reports have it, the show will revolve around Divyanka Tripathi's character.
Indian television has started a new trend of creating a spin-off to the hit shows. It was started with Ishqbaaaz's spin-off Dil Boley Oberoi which happened last year. Then, we saw a spin-off of KumKum Bhagya titled Kundali Bhagya starring Dheeraj Dhoopar and Srishti Arya in the lead.
Now, as per reports in an entertainment portal, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will be the latest show to have a spin-off and will have the title around the word 'Mohabbatein' itself. Talking about it, a source revealed to the portal, "Only the high placed officials from the channel and the production house are aware of it."
Reportedly, the show is set to go on floors in the month of March and will revolve around the lead Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya's character.
Talking about Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, the show went on air from December 3, 2013, and has been one of the most loved shows on television from past four years. The show stars Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya as lead playing the roles of Raman Bhalla and Ishita Bhalla respectively. The show also has Anita Hassanandani playing the supporting character of Shagun.
The show has gone through a lot of changes since its inception. It even had leaps several times.

Earlier, there were rumours doing the rounds that Divyanka is quitting the show, as in the next few weeks the show will showcase Divyanka's death sequence and cast new faces. But, a source close to Divyaka stated to us, "These reports are false, Divyanka is not quitting the show, and yes the makers have thought of planning the death of Divyanka though it's not sure she is not quitting the show for sure."
