Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are NOW married

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are one of the best examples of true love story with no boundaries. The two met on the sets of Sasural Simar Ka and fell in love. After being together for around 5 years, Shoaika, as fans fondly call them, got married today in Maudaha, a town near Lucknow. 

The two had a nikaah in the presence of close friends and family at the same place where Shoaib's parents had got married decades ago. The duo will be hosting a grand reception in Mumbai on February 26, 2018. 

Dipika's look as bride is out wherein she is looking extremely beautiful donning a pink sharara. On the other hand, riding a white horse was Shoaib who was all set to take away his beautiful Dulhania.

The duo looked extremely ecstatic during their pre-wedding festivities including mehendi, haldi and sangeet. The filmyness in their wedding reminded us of DDLJ and we couldn't help falling for them all the more. 

Dipika and Shoaib were seen dancing to popular Bollywood numbers and imitating all the latkas and jhatkas during the sangeet. 

Meanwhile, a source close to the couple informed a leading daily that Dipika and Shoaib wanted a lavish wedding later this year but their families wanted to advance the wedding. 

“Dipika and Shoaib were originally planning a lavish wedding sometime later this year in Jaipur. However, their families wanted to advance the plan and a date was finalised upon just 20 days ago. The families also decided to solemnise the nikah in the same house where Shoaib’s parents got married decades ago. Shoaib is returning to his hometown after almost 10 years and his relatives are excited to have him and Dipika with them," the source said. 

Shoaib had proposed Dipika during their stint on the dance reality show Nach Baliye.
