Dill Mill Gaye fame actor Karan Paranjpe passes away at 26
Actor Karan Paranjpe, who played the role of Jignesh in the popular TV show Dill Mill Gayye, passed away at his residence on March 25. He was 26.
Actor Karan Paranjpe, who played the role of Jignesh in the popular TV show Dill Mill Gayye, passed away at his residence on March 25. He was 26.
The actor’s body was found by his mother at around 11 am in the morning. The cause of death is yet to be established, reports claim. However, according to a report on an entertainment website, he suffered a heart attack while in sleep. Merely 26 years old, this does come across as a shocking piece of news.
Apart from Dill Mill Gayye, Karan Paranjpe was also played a character named Jignesh (a.k.a Jiggy) in Sanjeevani.
Karan Wahi, who also starred in Dill Mill Gaye, mourned the loss of the actor. He took to his Instagram account and wrote, “U will be missed dear JIGS.”
The show also starred Karan Singh Grover, Shilpa Anand, Muskan Mihani and Drashti Dhami. The story revolved around the medical interns, who were fresh out of college. The look and feel of the show attracted the young teenagers.
Armaan (played by Karan Singh Grover) and Ridhima (Shilpa Anand and Jennifer Winget) had an amazing chemistry. Their love-story had the maximum takers and the major reason for the show's popularity was their chemistry.
