Dil Deke Dekho fame Abhishek Bajaj: It was a nostalgic moment when Akanksha Jindal asked the guitar back after 6 years to learn
Abhishek Bajaj talks about fiancée Akanksha Jindal.
Abhishek Bajaj, who was last seen on the show Dil Deke Dekho, got engaged to his girlfriend on October 28 October in an hotel in Mumbai. The two met at a party in 2010 and since then have been with each other in their ups and downs.
So to make their sangeet ceremony special, Akanksha has learnt guitar. She bought her a Spanish guitar 6 years back but she could not learn it that time. For 6 years the guitar was kept at Abhishek’s home and finally the soon to be bride picked up the guitar and learnt to play it which will be the highlight of her sangeet ceremony on 27th of November in New Delhi.
"It was a nostalgic moment when Akanksha asked the guitar back after 6 years to learn and play guitar, something which she wanted to do always and from my end I kept the guitar with her for 6 long years. I am glad and awaiting to hear her play the instrument on my much favorite song ‘Sun Mere Humsafar’ from the movie Badri ki Dulhaniya’," said Abhishek.
Talking about the romantic proposal, he booked a private yacht for his lady love at the Gateway of India in Mumbai and surprised her with a perfect proposal. Abhishek said, "She always mentioned she wanted a dreamy proposal and was quite fascinated about it. So, I planned everything accordingly and knew that she will love it. She was totally surprised to see that I actually planned it and surprised her. She had no idea that I am going to propose her for the wedding. She thought that we are just going there to chill out."
