Did Kapil Sharma keep Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Team Mubarakan waiting for four hours?
Mubarakan team was kept waiting for four hours because of Kapil Sharma's health issues.
Looks like trouble and Kapil Sharma have been going hand in hand for 2k17. The year started with the infamous flight fight between Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show co-star Sunil Grover. This led to Sunil's walkout from the show. Subsequently, the TRP's of Kapil shows plummeted. When finally TKSS came back in TRP's Top 10 list, Kapil was hospitalised as he was feeling uneasy.
Last time it was Jab Harry Met Sejal's leads Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, whose shoot got cancelled because Kapil was rushed to the hospital. This time, it's team Mubarakan who had to wait for four hours for the comedian, according to a leading daily. Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz and Athiya Shetty waited for Kapil as he cited health issues and said that he will make it in time. Ultimately, the cast left the premises without shooting for the show.
A source close to the show told the daily, "Everyone from the team Mubarakan had come on time right from Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty. The shoot was scheduled to begin around 5.30pm earlier today. But as Kapil had not come till then, we made some calls and it was then we were told that he is not keeping well but will try to come in for the shoot as soon as possible. As Kapil’s health was involved, the team decided to wait for him for some more time and finish the shoot. But till 10 pm when he did not turn up, everyone decided that they shall leave after waiting for over four hours."
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Mubarakan is slated to release on July 28, 2017.
