Did Ekta Kapoor just CONFIRM Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii's remake?
Ekta Kapoor tweeted about a remake of an old epic saga and if reports are to be believed it is Sakshi Tanwar's Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii.
Television czarina Ekta Kapoor is on a roll right now as she is all set to bring back her old shows with a new twist. While we all know that Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2 is on the cards, the TV producer is reportedly all set to revive the iconic show Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii which featured Sakshi Tanwar in the lead role.
Almost confirming the speculations doing the rounds, Ekta today tweeted, "So met @StarPlus team yest !emo moment for me!! About to announce a ‘ remake’ of an old epic saga!let d ride of nostalgia begin JAI MATA DI."

According to a DNA report earlier, Sakshi Tanwar will be the narrator of the show and will take the story of the Agarwal family forward. We wonder how this is going to role out but the idea seems to be exciting for the loyal TV audiences. But will it be able to recreate the history like before? Only time will tell.
Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii first aired in 2000 and aired its last episode in 2008. Post Kahaani, Sakshi was seen alongside Ram Kapoor in another hit show Bade Acche Lagte Ho.
In the meantime, Ekta recently produced the third season for her hit franchise Naagin and it is already topping the TRP charts. She also has Dil Hi Toh Hai featuring Karan Kundrra and Yogita Bihani which has been launched both digitally and on satellite.
