Devoleena Bhattacharjee REACTS to the reports of being arrested in a diamond merchant's death case
There were reports that Devoleena Bhattacharjee is being detained and arrested in the case of death of a Mumbai-based diamond merchant. The actor has reacted to this news. Read on.
Television actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee is in news currently related to the news of the death of a Mumbai-based diamond merchant named Rajeshwar Udani. There were reports that Devoleena along with politician Sachin Pawar were called in by the police at the Pant Nagar Police Station in Ghatkopar to record their statements. There were several reports mentioning that the Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress is being detained or arrested in the death case of the diamond merchant.
However, the actress has refuted all the rumours. Devoleena Bhattacharjee told India Forums, "I was not detained nor arrested, I was just called in to answer few questions. She also shared a picture on her Instagram page and told her fans through her caption that 'All is well'. The captioned read, "And all is well....thank you for all your love wishes..god bless you."

As reported by Times of India, earlier, Devoleena's advocate, Falguni Brahmbhatt also issued a statement clearing her stand.
The statement reads, "Some media houses have published a false story that in the said case my client has been arrested without verifying the facts and its authenticity which has not only tarnished her (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) image and caused humiliation to her but it has caused a Hindrance and Prejudice in the entire case because of the inappropriate media reports."
