Shaheer Sheikh and Sonarika Bhadoria starrer Dastaan-E-Mohabbat is on a roll with the romantic angle between Salim and Anarkali being explored for the first time on Indian television. While Shaheer plays the role of Salim in the historical magnum opus, Sonarika plays the role of Anarkali in the show. The show has been raking in TRPs gradually with people loving the chemistry between Shaheer and Sonarika.
The channel also shared a small glimpse of the Diwali gift that Salim will present to Anarkali, and it is surely a treat for fans. In the short teaser, Salim is seen painting a portrait of Anarkali and the romance in the air is palpable. Shaheer recently took to Twitter to reveal that he is still trying to understand Salim and get into the skin of it. He wrote, “Hey guys. I am still trying to understand Salim and get into his skin. I guess u will see a slightly different Salim in the coming eps. Do let me know what u feel about it.”
Shaheer in an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla had said that he wanted to play a historical character and was always looking forward to it. Shaheer was previously seen in the show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, while Sonarika was also seen in the show Mahadev.
