Dastaan-E-Mohabbat has been in the news since the makers made an announcement about the show. Shaheer Sheikh is back with the role of Salim in the historical magnum opus Dastaan-E-Mohabbat which also stars Sonarika Badoria as Anarkali. The show has managed to keep the audience interested with their iconic love story. This is the first time Salim and Anarkali's love story is being portrayed onscreen. Colors TV took to their official Instagram handle to share the new teaser of the show.
After the teaser release, actor Shaheer Sheikh took to social media to share details about the upcoming episodes. He tweeted, “Hey guys. I am still trying to understand Salim and get into his skin. I guess u will see a slightly different Salim in the coming eps. Do let me know what u feel about it.” The show has been receiving positive reviews from day one, and now we are quite excited to know what’s in the store for the audience with a different avatar of Salim. Earlier in a statement, Shaheer Sheikh had said, "Salim is a dream role for any actor. I think the most difficult part will be to portray the layers and the pain of the character. He is an extremely complex person, so it won't be that simple; however, that’s what I like about this role. The makers have got the look and the sets right and hopefully we can all do justice to the characters. Being a TV actor, our options are very limited and I feel very lucky to get this opportunity to play the iconic character of Salim."
