Dance Plus 5: Shakti Mohan is no longer part of the show; The new season to see 4 captains

Dance Plus is a popular dance reality show and has been giving a platform to budding dancers. The show is back with the season 5 and fans of the dance reality series are super excited for the fifth installment. As per latest reports, Shakti Mohan, who has been one of the three judges in the Remo D' Souza's show is no longer part of the series.

Apparently, Shakti being a judge in the season 4 was also doubtful however, she did the show and now she has opted out of it after doing 4 seasons consecutively. Captains Punit Pathak and Dharmesh Yelande along with host Raghav Juyal will continue to be part of the new season. There are no reports on who are the two new captains. There is no clarity whether Sugandha Mishra who co-hosted season 4 with Raghav as Surili Bhabi will be back in the new season. Also, according to several reports, the new season will see 4 captains and not 3.

Currently, the makers have been conducting auditions in various cities. For the unversed, season 5 will start airing on Star Plus from November 9 at 10:30 PM. V Company (Season 1) and Tanay Malhara (Season 2) and Bir Radha Sherpa (Season 3) & Chetan Salunkhe (Season 4) were the winners of the past seasons.
