Kumkum Bhagya is undoubtedly one of the famous TV shows and the same has been ruling the television space as everyone’s favorite dinnertime soap for the past 5 years. Also, the show's protagonist, Pragya and Abhi are TV’s most sought-after lovers.
And now, latest reports suggest that the serial will showcase a new journey with new protagonists. Yes, the show will take a 20-year leap and will introduce viewers to the next generation of the Mehras, i.e. Abhi and Pragya’s twin daughters.
In the upcoming track, we will get to see an unexpected turn of events as lovers Tanu (played by Leena Jumani) and King Singh (played Mishal Raheja) will lay out an evil trap to create havoc in Abhi and Pragya’s paradise. Even as Pragya gives birth to twin girls Prachi and Rhea, their happiness will be short-lived as new roadblocks will once again tear Abhi and Pragya apart.

Talking about the leap, the show will focus on Abhi, Pragya and their daughters Rhea and Prachi. Though they are twins by birth, they will be two strong personalities who are complete opposites of each other. While Prachi will be like her mom Pragya in terms of her simplicity and sensitivity Rhea who is born in the lap of luxury will be showed as the pampered daughter.
