The show Choti Sarrdaarni is amongst the most popular shows on Colors TV. The series is based on the life of the couple Meher and Sarabjit. The show's last season ended with Meher being sent to jail for life imprisonment for murder. Sarabjit is left with his son and mother's son to take care of alone. In the current season, the show has leaped five years, and Meher is shown living in Kashmir with his and Sarabjit's daughter Seher. She is living alone there without the knowledge of her family.

In the upcoming episode, it is shown that Meher's daughter is suffering from a severe illness. For the treatment, she is not able to arrange the money and becomes helpless. Then she comes to Sarabjit's house and leaves Seher there with her report. She thought that when he sees the report, he will realize that Seher is his daughter and would assist in her treatment.

In another scenario, Sarabjit has been living alone for the last five years, and his sister convinces him that Meher has moved on in life. She convinces him to get engaged with Samaira, and he agrees to the engagement. When he is about to do the engagement, Seher comes there and faints while talking. He leaves the ring and rushes to the girl, and checks her reports. Then he runs to the hospital.

When people ask him why he is doing it for some stranger, he replies that the girl is not a stranger. Will she know about her father is uncertain for now.
