Chaitanya Choudhary on playing Karan Patel's role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein: It is a huge challenge for me
Chaitanya Choudhary who is best known for his roles in shows such as Uttaran and Kahiin To Hoga among others will be seen in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. He will be portraying the role of Raman Bhalla since Karan Patel has signed Khatron Ke Khiladi.
Chaitanya Choudhary who is best known for his roles in shows such as Uttaran and Kahiin To Hoga among others will be seen in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. He will be portraying the role of Raman Bhalla since Karan Patel has signed adventure-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi and will soon leave for Bulgaria.
In an interview with IWM BUZZ, Chaitanya spoke in length about his role and his big decision to get into the series. He said, "I started my career with Balaji Telefilms. Recently I did Dil Hi Toh Hai with them. So when they called me for this, they shared with me the idea on how they want to take this role forward. I got on board and yes, I will be starting shoot soon."
When asked whether he is has replaced Karan Patel, to the same he said he is not clear on that but he is coming in his place for sure. He also said as and when the show progresses, we will get to know about it.
He also spoke about his friendship that he shares with Karan. “We are friends and we know each other. I know him much before we started TV. He is a great actor and has done a fantastic job as Raman Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. It is very difficult to take his place to be very honest. Now that I have got in, I will give it my best shot.”
He also spoke about his approach to the role. He said he will go with the flow and have a lot of people to guide. He also said how there will be a lot of planning as well and certainly, it will be a huge challenge for him.
