Minissha Lamba, who has acted in films like Yahaan, Well Done Abba and commercially successful Bachna Ae Haseeno, is all set to make her acting debut in a TV show as an antagonist.

During an interview with a leading daily, the actress revealed that she will be playing the role of a vishkanya in SAB TV's Tenali Rama. She described her character as sultry and mysterious.

Minissha also said that it was the right time for her to enter the fiction genre and now she won't mind doing saas-bahu soaps in future. In the meanwhile, she is looking forward to playing the antagonist and thinks it's going to be a lot of fun.

Minissha had made her Television debut with Bigg Boss 8 where she was linked to Arya Babbar. Talking about her Bigg Boss experience, Minissha had earlier said, "It was tough to live in a cramped place and everybody would lose their cool because of the pressure. But on the whole, it was not as tough as I had expected, except for the physically challenging tasks."

When asked about the kind of roles which interest her, the actor had said, "I like playing different characters. For example, I played a girl-next-door in Yahaan, a sexy girl in Kidnap, a village belle in Zila Ghaziabad and a journalist in Joker. Since I enjoy acting, I am game to try out various roles. But I would love to portray Meryl Streep's character in The Iron Lady or Michelle Williams' in My Week with Marilyn."
