Bigg Boss 12: Not Salman Khan but THIS actor was first approached to replace Amitabh Bachchan as host in 2010

The most-watched television show Bigg Boss is back with a new season yet again. One of the most controversial and popular TV reality shows is coming back to your TV screens yet again with new twists and turns from September 16. With just a few days left, the excitement level among the viewers is sky high. While the viewers are waiting for the show to hit the TV screens, contestants of this season as ready with their bag packs and disconnect themselves from the outside world for next three months.
Well, since last 11 seasons, Bigg Boss has always been held Lonavala, but this time, the makers have chosen Goa for the launch. The Bhaijaan of Bollywood is currently interacting with the media at the launch in Goa. While interacting with the media, Salman made a huge revelation that Bigg Boss was offered to Shah Rukh Khan initially. He said, “Shah Rukh Khan was the first choice to host Bigg Boss but he couldn't make it due to his shoots and shoulder injury. I also got to know about this recently. I want to thank SRK and Colors for giving me BB.”
For the uninitiated, SRK suffered a severe injury on his left shoulder in 2008 during the shooting of My Name Is Khan. He went under a surgery in 2013.
Meanwhile, speaking about this year's new theme, Salman revealed, "The only funda of Bigg Boss 12 is to find jodis with super vichitra qualities which make them unique!"
