Colors channel's popular reality game show Bigg Boss is all set to return with its twelfth season this year. Buzz is that, this time the show will have real-life couples as participants.
Now, as per a report by India Forums, the makers have finally settled upon a date for the show's premiere. Bigg Boss 12 is all set to go on air on September 16, 2018. Like the previous seasons, this season too will be hosted by the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor Salman Khan.
A few days ago, there were reports that Salman's current show Dus Ka Dum is likely to go off air, and the actor would then shoot for the promo of Bigg Boss 12. According to India Forums, Khatron Ke Khiladi, which was earlier supposed to air around September has been pushed even further, paving the way for Bigg Boss.
During its entire runtime, Bigg Boss manages to grab the top place on the TRP charts. The show is infamous for the number of controversies it generates through each episode.
The game show is an Indian version of the popular American game show Big Brother. In the show, celebrities and public figures are locked up together in a house for a span of 100 days, and during this period they have no connection with the outer world. Also, the participants have to perform numerous tasks, as well as, do all the household chores, to mark themselves safe on the show.
