Priyank Sharma was amongst the popular contestants on Bigg Boss 11. His friendship with Vikas Gupta was much talked about during the entire season given their love-hate relationship. Eventually, they became friends inspite of a few fights in between. Vikas even ended up being in the Top 4 finalists of the controversial reality show.

A while back, rumours were rife that Priyank would be starring in Vikas Gupta's web series but no official confirmation was made on the same.

Now, speaking to a leading daily, Vikas confirmed that Priyank was indeed starring in his web series. Vikas revealed, "Yes, Priyank and I are doing a web series. He will be acting in it and it will be screened on Ekta Kapoor’s digital platform."

That is indeed some good news for Priyank Sharma fans!

A while back, Priyank had shared a picture with Vikas offering his support for his friend. Priyank's caption reads as, "And I saw you sitting all alone and not eating properly. You are a fighter. Remeber we used to tell each other. YOU CAN DO THIS. THIS IS YOUR TIME OF GLORY. You have given me a lot of strength. You can do this. We can do this. Remember? Few more days to go. I am with you, your family and friends are with you. After all those fights, the relation I have now is even more and more stronger with this boy. He is my inspiration, my elder brother, my family. But that doesn't mean we will stop fighting."

Meanwhile, during his stint on Bigg Boss 11, Priyank was questioned about his sexual orientation with contestants throwing homophobic slurs his way.

Talking about this, Priyank got candid and said, "I think having an opinion or criticism is fine, but attacking someone's character is not acceptable. As a celebrity, I am open to criticism but there is a huge difference between criticism and insult. Trolls on my sexual orientation and character do affect me. Even if I decide to ignore it my loved ones are affected by it which bothers the most more than the trolls."
