Vikas Gupta of Bigg Boss 11 fame has been hospitalised. Read on.
TV producer Vikas Gupta became a household name with Bigg Boss 11 wherein he made it to the top three contestants. Vikas later went on to do Khatron Ke Khiladi wherein he did all sorts of stunts including surviving a snake bite. He was, in fact, asked to leave the show just two weeks before the finale because of a shoulder injury which continues to leave him in excruciating pain. The TV producer is currently hospitalized after his injury further escalated.
He shared a picture from the hospital and captioned it, "My first TikTok / Musically . According to a DNA report, the Bigg Boss 11 housemate suffered a shoulder injury while performing a stunt for Khatron Ke Khiladi which is not only causing him a lot of pain but might also prove fatal if he continues to inject heavy doses of painkillers.
Following this, the channel decided to ask him to leave. A source earlier informed DNA about the same and said, “Vikas was one of the top contenders on the show. But, he hid his shoulder injury from the makers and was performing all the stunts after taking painkiller injections that could have become lethal. Keeping the safety of the contestants in mind, the channel has booted him from the competition, the source told the publication adding that the medications result in shooting up of heart rate and if combined with rigorous physical activities could prove fatal. "
