Bigg Boss 11 evicted contestant Sapna Choudhary makes her TV show debut with Laado - Veerpur ki Mardaani
Sapna Choudhary will be seen doing a cameo in Laado - Veerpur ki Mardaani.
Sapna Choudhary who was part of the reality show - Bigg Boss 11 is currently in a happy space. The Haryanvi dancer left a good impression amongst the audience with her play in the show.
She was recently seen shooting for a movie with Abhay Deol and now will be seen making her TV show debut with Avika Gor's show Laado - Veerpur Ki Mardaani. She will reportedly be seen making a cameo as a dancer on the show. She has also shot for her scenes in Mumbai this weekend.
Confirming this to a leading daily, Sapna said, "It was a great experience. I was almost playing myself so I did not have to act much but it was quite different still. I have never been in front of the camera like this. I have never performed like this before. Ek toh I am used to dancing on my own songs. This was the first time I danced on a Bollywood song. Then, this was also the first time I had a choreographer guiding me. I liked being on camera and cannot wait to do it again."
The show is a second installment of the 2009-1012 show Na Ana Iss Des Laado. The show challenges the societal norms and is a step towards ensuring women empowerment. Sapna was also asked how did it feel to be a part of a show which closely relates to her own state, Haryana. "That was one of the major things that drew me to this show. It also shows the kind of Haryana I saw growing up. When I was on set and they were shooting some scenes with the actors speaking in that Harayanvi accent, it did not feel like it was a TV set. Mujhe laga ki jaise main apne Haryana mein waapis aa gayi hoon. Jo iss show mein dikhaate hain, woh sab maine dekha hai khud se," she added.
