Bharti Singh DISMISSES reports of doing a comedy show with Kapil Sharma and Krushna Abhishek
Kapil Sharma was said to make his TV comeback in a comedy show with Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh. However, Bharti dismissed the rumours and shared that she would love to be a part of Kapil's show.
A few years back, Kapil Sharma was amongst the prominent faces of Indian Television, who would entertain us with his antics and Bollywood stars would make time for. However, last year, his tiff with Sunil Grover as well as his verbal spat with a journalist, saw the comedian at his lowest point. After that, Kapil disappeared for a few months with photos surfacing on the web, that shocked his fans. He was last seen in the movie Firangi (2017) as well as the shortly timed Family Time With Kapil which only aired for two weeks.
However, in a silver lining of sorts, Bombay Times had reported that Kapil would be making his TV comeback in a comedy show with Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh. It would have been the first time since Comedy Circus that the trio would have worked together. This decision was made so as not to burden Kapil with the responsibility of a running a show in his own accord. However, when Bharti was asked by Hindustan Times about this comedy show, the comedienne immediately dismissed the reports.
Bharti reasoned that she was already hosting India's Got Talent on the same channel and hence, does not have time to do anything else. If she were doing such a show, Bharti points out that she would happily announce it.
Talking fondly about Kapil, Bharti shared, "Rulaane wale duniya mein bahut hain, hasaane wale bahut kam hai. When Kapil comes back on TV, it will be his show and he won’t be ‘joining’ us. I’ll happily be a part of his show. People love Kapil a lot and they are ready to forgive him for whatever he did. I hope this news comes true and Kapil calls me."
