Barun Sobti is one of the popular television actors and has a massive fan following. He became a household name with the show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. He has always been appreciated for his acting, and now, he is now all set to entice his fans with his upcoming film 22 Yards. The movie was to release this Friday, but it has been now pushed to March 15. It’s not the first time the release date has been pushed. The trailer of the film was released two years back and fans have been wanting to see him on the big screen. It won’t be clashing with Ajay Devgn’s Total Dhamaal anymore and will have a solo release on March 15.
An entertainment portal, Latestly contacted the director of the film, Mitali Ghosh and she confirmed the new release date. She told, “It is not that big a reason and it happens with most films. We pushed 22 Yards back to get the proper number of screens and shows, keeping all other factors in mind. Also, after the trailer release, we've gotten a tremendously positive response and love and hence, wanted to give the film a perfect release and make the film available to more viewers.”
Barun Sobti plays the head of a sports management company in Kolkata in Mitali Ghosh’s upcoming Hindi film 22 Yards. The movie also stars Amartya Ray, Rajit Kapur, Panchi Bora, Chaiti Ghoshal, Rajesh Sharma and Geetika Tyagi. Watch the trailer here:
