Arjit Taneja on rumours of dating Mrunal Thakur: I love her, but she is my friend, nothing more, nothing less
Several reports started making the rounds of KumKum Bhagya's Arjit Taneja and Mrunal Thakur being in a relationship. But during an interaction with a leading daily, Arjit denied all the reports and said Mrunal is a friend.
Dating rumours in the entertainment industry have become an everyday phenomenon. Many stars are linked with each other, some admit to the relationship while others blatantly deny it as rumours. Recently, several reports started making the rounds of KumKum Bhagya's Arjit Taneja and Mrunal Thakur being in a relationship.
But Arjit denied the reports stating to a leading daily, "We started off as colleagues and became friends much later. We began our careers together and were only 21 when we were paired with each other on Kumkum... In the beginning, we did not even get along with each other. In fact, there were months when we would shoot together and refuse to talk to each other. Now, at the age of 25, I have realised that such behaviour is kiddish. Mrunal is a great person."
After quitting KumKum Bhagya, both Arjit and Mrunal went on to do an Indonesian television show. Talking about it, Arjit said, "We did a show together in Indonesia. That's when I realised how immature I was and found a great friend in her. Mrunal is busy with her career right now and so am I. We are great buddies and only wish well for each other. We do click pictures and post them on our social media accounts, but don't friends do that? I love Mrunal, but she is my friend, nothing more, nothing less."
Well, that puts an end to all the rumours!
Earlier, Mrunal was in a relationship with Sharad Tripathi and the estranged couple even participated in the dance reality show, Nach Baliye season 7.
