Anurag Basu had a dream of becoming an engineer
Anurag Basu shares his childhood memory on Super Dancer 2 sets.
The popular filmmaker turned judge of the Sony Entertainment Television’s kids dance reality show Super Dancer Chapter 2, Anurag Basu, has had nurtured a dream since his childhood. No matter he has carved his niche as a film director and kids’ dance show judge, however, the dream that he could not fulfill is becoming an Engineer!
Recently, he walked down the memory lane during the shoot Super Dancer and confessed that he aspired to become an engineer. As he is happy to witness that the little talents on the show are living their dreams of becoming dancing sensations, he mentioned it to Co-judges Shilpa Shetty and Geeta Kapoor that he wanted to become an Engineer since his childhood but could not fulfill the dream.
Funnily enough, whenever people asked him the reason to become an engineer, making engines would be his go-to answer!
The director revealed that he moved to Mumbai with his parents when he was in his 12th standard and had faced a lot of sacrifices. He owes everything to them whatever he was today is because of them. He also shared a funny memory where he said that as a kid when someone asked him what did he want to become when he grew up? He said ‘An engineer’ when asked what would he do as an engineer the director revealed, ‘make engines'. Anurag Basu is a super fun judge on Super Dancer 2 sets and always has something very valuable and entertaining to say to everybody.
