Ankita Lokhande extends support to women who are speaking out against sexual harassment

Celebs from both tv and Bollywood are speaking up against sexual harassment after Tanushree Dutta accused veteran actor Nana Patekar last week. Ankita Lokhande in a series of tweets has extended support to those standing up and has also others to open up.

Last week Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta came out in open speaking against actor Nana Patekar for allegedly sexually assaulting her during the shoot of film Horn Ok Pleasss in 2008. The incident has created a stir in the industry with several celebs backing the actress. Several others have also joined the actress in standing up against sexual misconduct and have shared their story on social media. Television actress Ankita Lokhande has joined the bandwagon who have extended support to the women out there who have faced harassment of any kind.

Television fame Ankita Lokhande, in a series of tweets, has put out a strong message calling out all the men who think they can easily get away after molesting a woman. Ankita has also extended support to all the women who have spoken against it and has others also to speak up against sexual harassment. The MeToo movement has found resonance in Bollywood and the recent allegations have brought the names of several prominent men, including actors, standup comedians, senior journalists and editors in the limelight.

On the work front, Ankita is all set to for her debut film release, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi which features Kangana Ranaut in the lead.

Speaking of Tanushree Dutta, along with Nana Patekar, the actress has also accused filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri who asked her to take off all her clothes on the sets of a movie to get a shot right.
