Ankita Lokhande and Ekta Kapoor took to their Instagram and shared memories remembering the famous show Pavitra Rishta. The serial also starred Sushant Singh Rajput.
Ankita Lokhande was in the headlines recently, one for wedding rumours with her boyfriend Vicky Jain, and secondly for giving a great performance in Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. She entered the Bollywood industry through her television serial Pavitra Rishta, in which she played the role of Archana. It also starred none other than Sushant Singh Rajput as Manav. Produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, popular television show Pavitra Rishta has completed 10 years today.
Ekta took to her social media account to share the struggles that she went through before the iconic show led to the resurrection. The producer shared a video with a caption that read, "2008 from being on the top 25 slots I was out of the top 50 slots... with no work n channels refusing to meet me saying ‘ I was too senior to say no to’ along came terumati selvum a@south show that @zeetv gave us a chance to remake and our’ Pavitra Rishta with television started again ...."
Ankita also took to her Instagram and shared a picture of her character. She wrote, "No words to express #10yearsofpavitrarishta." The co-stars of the show Ankita and Sushant used to date each other but broke up after a few years. When questioned about her wedding plans, Ankita said, "If it happens, I will let you know and invite you for the wedding. I can’t say anything right now, but there are no such plans, yet."
