Mohit Raina wishes birthday girl Mouni Roy on Instagram putting breakup rumours to rest.
Mouni Roy is undoubtedly one of the most sultry and talented actresses on the tube. The actor who started off at a young age will now be making her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold.
Mouni, who was last seen in Naagin 2, turns a year older today and while Instagram is flooded with wishes pouring from all sides, it is her alleged boyfriend Mohit Raina’s wish which caught our attention.
While rumours of their breakup have been going strong, Mohit wished Mouni in a sweet post. Man of fewer words, indeed!
Though it is just Mouni’s silhouette, we wonder why Mohit did not tag her in the post?
However, the actor shared a video of Mouni on his Instagram story wherein the diva is slaying in a bikini.
Recent reports suggested that the two have broken up and have even unfollowed each other on their Twitter handles.
We got in touch with Mohit Raina about the breakup rumours, to which he said, "I have not spoken about my personal life earlier and I choose to maintain that. Please respect someone's privacy. All these unnecessary attention gathering news takes over our credibility."
Talking about Mouni, she is all set for her Bollywood debut in Gold opposite Akshay Kumar. Earlier there were reports of Mouni being unhappy with her role in Gold. Sources have been quoted saying that Mouni is apparently playing Akshay's love interest in the movie and has a very small role. The film reportedly revolves around the male protagonists Akshay Kumar, Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh and Sunny Kaushal.
When we had contacted Mouni, she simply refuted the rumours saying that she is herself appalled by the news. "I really don't know who plants all these rubbish news. I'm almost sure that some people really hate me. All I have to say is please wait till the film releases. I'm very happy and even more grateful that I'm a part of this project.”
