The actor-director duo will be teaming up for the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 which Rohit is currently hosting.
Akshay Kumar and director Rohit Shetty are all set to come together for their next Sooryavanshi. The first look of the film, which is set to release on Eid 2020, is out and Akshay Kumar is nailing the look of a cop in the film's poster. But before the actor and director begin shooting for the film, Akshay and Rohit will be seen trying some daredevil stunts for another project. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, the duo will be teaming up for the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 which Rohit is currently hosting.
According to the leading daily's source the stunt has been designed by Rohit Shetty and will be performed by Akshay Kumar in the season's finale. "Akshay will be shooting for his portions in the city studio this week. During his performance, he will also give the final pep talk to all the contestants.
The stunt-based reality show is currently in its ninth season and is inching closer towards its final week. The show which airs on Colors recently singer Udit Narayan's son Aditya Narayan being announced as the fourth finalist of the show. Akshay Kumar, who has also hosted a couple of seasons of the show, will seen trying his hands at a terrifying stunt. Apart from Rohit and Akshay, Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Kapoor too have been the prominent hosts of the reality show in the past.
On the work front, Akshay's next fil Kesari will be releasing this month on March 21 and the trailer has already created quite the buzz.
